  5. General Discribtion

  7. Fani is a Windows utiliti to animate farctals with Fractint (Ver.18).
  8. It creates batch- and parameterfiles to make n gifs witch can 
  9. be put together with programs like Dave_s TGA Animator (DTA) and
  10. played whith a Fli-player like AAPLAY.

  13. Installation
  14.  
  15. Create a directory and copy FANI into it.
  16. Start WINDOWS from this diretory or just type FANIVB .
  17. The batch- and parameterfiles will then be created automaticaly into the
  18. diretory.
  19. Go back to DOS.
  20. FRACTINT must be in your path, so you can just type the name of the batchfile
  21. (default is fani.bat,fani.par).

  23. Causion: Because of different "," and "." syntax we, with our german 
  24. grafic-table have to modifie with the DOS-EDITOR the "," into "." first 
  25. (not nesassary with US grafic-table).

  28. To make animations with this tool you have to be very common with
  29. FRACTINT.
  30. Dry first with the default-parameters of a julia.set animation.
  31.  
  32. You have 3 different types of animations:
  33.  
  34. 1. Parameter animation (default)
  35. 2. Pointzoom to do deep zooms (put in the start mag, the end mag,the 
  36. zoomfactor and switch the nP bottom. The number of pictures needed will be calculated.)
  37. 3. Linezoom which enables you to animate the path between to points.

  39. If we some request we will make a share-ware-version (25$) of this
  40. program with multi-piont pathes, distance-estimator animations, saving
  41. parameters and so on.
